Student Services

Temple University Harrisburg knows that going to college isn’t always easy and we want to do everything we can to help support students as they encounter personal and academic obstacles while on campus.

Academic Support

Library:
Temple University Harrisburg students have immediate access to 30 current print journal titles, over 670 online databases and millions of Ebooks through the Temple Library Website. Students are able to request hard copies of books from other Temple University Libraries to be shipped to Harrisburg through interlibrary loan services.

To have materials shipped to the Harrisburg campus for pickup, search the library catalog for your materials and then choose the "request" button at the top of the page. More information about this service and others can be found at the Temple University Libraries webpage.

Students in Harrisburg who need help accessing or using library services can send an email to hlibrary@temple.edu, or call 717-231-3646.

Tutoring:
Students at Harrisburg have access to tutors at main campus, either through the Writing Center or through the Center for Learning and Student Success. Additional assistance is available for math and writing on site in Harrisburg

Disability Resources and Services

Temple University’s Disability Resources and Services Office (DRS) facilitates access and accommodations for students in order to ensure that students with disabilities have full access to the university experience.

All applicants to Temple University follow standard application procedures. Once admitted, a student who may need accommodations is encouraged to reach out to Disability Resources and Services as soon as possible.

After registering with DRS, students will be connected with a coordinator to discuss needs and appropriate accommodations. Harrisburg students who would like assistance connecting with Disability Resource Services should reach out to Danielle Martin at danielle.n.martin@temple.edu.

Counseling

Temple University Harrisburg has arranged for students to access short-term counseling through a local group practice. Students who would like more information about this resource should contact Ritamarie Trippett, Senior Student Services Coordinator at ritamarie.trippett@temple.edu.

Additional Resources for Current Students

Financial Aid:
To be considered for Financial Aid, students must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) every year by March 1st. The FAFSA can be completed online at www.FAFSA.ed.gov - Temple’s school code is 003371. After completing the FAFSA, Temple’s Student Financial Services will notify students of their financial aid award through the TUportal. Students must then accept the award, and complete the appropriate entrance counseling.

More information on the financial aid process can be found on the Student Financial Services website.

Tuition and Billing:
Answers to tuition and billing questions can be found on the Temple University Bursar website or by contacting their office at bursar@temple.edu or 215-204-7269.
